Fading
memory
I'm the result of a young girl's
fantasy
The inspiration of her nocturnal poetry
I was born from her sweet, innocent heart
I was born to complete her; to be the missing part
She created me to prevent the crying,
To comfort her when her love was dying
That is why I was born, that is why I was was made;
To be the star that guides her, to protect her from
the shade
I'm her inspiration, I'm her knight
I'm her friend, I'm the love of her life
I'm a young girl's poetry,
My life's nothing but an old, fading memory...
Final words
These words are
to be my last,
Soon to be forgotten, fading in the past
I've but one request before I leave,
Promise that when I'm gone, you'll think of me
Remember how I made you smile, remember those tears
you cry
Remember the love shared, remember how time flew by
Now, my time has come, I await my turn,
Leave with no regrets, for I've nothing left to learn
You see, life's a lesson, waiting to be taught,
And I, I've found all the answers I once so fervently
sought
When I'm gone I'll come to rest in peace,
Yet I promise to visit, to soar by you as a gentle breeze
Remember me, for all the things I used to do,
For the time we shared, and the laughter too
Forget my words; they're of no use,
Words are hollow, that's the bitter truth
It's for my actions I wish to be thought,
Think of all the happiness they brought
Now I sit here, wondering what death will bring,
Writing you a letter, asking for one, simple thing
Keep me in your memory;
I want you to remember me
Forgotten
memories
Remember that time..?
The time when there was only pain...and lonesome sorrow?
When everything seemed to have lost its meaning?
Of course you do...
Every word broke your fragile heart
Every tear ripped your velvet skin apart
You hated them for what they made you do
You hated them for all the crying too
All you wanted was to make them pay;
Oh, how you longed for that precious day
Do you remember..?
You craved for vengeance; it made you hunger
Then they changed you, they made you stronger
They took the hate, and all the sorrow
They took the sun, the moon; they took tomorrow
You remember it now, don't you?
They took the spark, they took the fire
They took the sky and sent it higher
They quenched your thirst, they ceased your hunger
They took your life, you live no longer...
Past's portrait
Ancient picture
of a young boy, dusty portrait on the wall,
Are you prepared to answer when destiny calls?
Blue-eyed youngling, pure innocence within
Your future holds both laughter and wicked sin
Gazing at the portrait of youth, can't help weeping
from what I see;
I look into the eyes of a young boy who once was me,
Tears fall down my cheek, my lips shiver as I try to
speak,
Wondering how I became so weak, I need the answers,
they're what I seek;
Spelling the question that the artist forgot when he
drew;
Would you have lived my life if you knew?
Uncertain whispers from a falling star,
I demand to know who you are;
What's your name, from where do you hail,
Where does your path end?
Do I live in vain, shall my lonesome quest fail;
Will my broken heart ever mend?
I need to know; Who am I..?
